Privacy
What happens to your email when you join the Skipie waitlist.
Who looks after your data
Skipie is responsible for the data on this site. For any question or request about it, write to privacy@skipie.com.
What is kept
When you join the waitlist, the site keeps:
- your email;
- the language of the page you signed up on;
- whether you asked to join the beta;
- where you came from: the campaign in the link, when it has one, or the site that brought you;
- the date you signed up.
Nothing else. The form doesn't ask for your name, and the site uses no cookies.
What for
- to tell you about the launch;
- to send the letter, a short email every other week;
- to pick the beta participants, among those who asked.
Your data is never sold or handed to anyone for any other purpose.
Where it lives
- Turso: the database that holds the waitlist.
- Emailit: the service that sends the letter. It gets your email, the language, the beta request and where you came from.
- Umami: counts visits to the site, with no cookies and no personal data. It doesn't identify you or follow you across other sites.
For how long
Your data stays while you are on the list. When you leave, your email is deleted. Only the date, the language, the beta request and where you came from remain, with nothing that identifies you, to count how many people came from each place.
How to leave
Every letter ends with a link to leave. One click is enough, and your email is deleted from the list.
